The current recommended Rapps version is 3.1. compatibility means also, that react OS has been stealing windows patneted software functions in code. This list is now out of date but reports 3.1.1 ran well. It would be beneficial if someone running newest versions of ReactOS could test a current SumatraPDF Pre-Release x32 build and report their findings. ReactOS 圆4 is Bleeding Edge Alpha Alpha so dont expect SumatraPDF 3.2.# 圆4 to be supported by ReactOS for possibly some time. However that can also be seen in Windows 10 with current release, where “Always on Top” apps or the Toolbar are allowed to override SumatraPDF. (I use GNU/Linux for work already for more than a decade. The developers aim to make the kernel and usermode application programming interface (API) more compatible with Windows NT version 5.2 (Windows Server 2003) and to add support for more applications and hardware, with plans to target newer versions of Windows as development matures. and have more hardware support and 100 less control from Microsoft. But if ReactOS can reach a level of maturity and compatibility to please such people, there's a sizeable niche there of people who: on Ap I have high hopes for ReactOS, because pro audio software is currently the only thing that really keeps me tied to Windows. ![]() If you want Flash games to work on Linux I think you'll have to use Chrome and not distro Chromium, though. Proper SMP/multi-core support is obviously critical for today's hardware or even anything in the past roughly two decades. macOS, Android, and Windows aren't 100 perfectly compatible across versions, either. ReactOS as the open-source project striving for binary compatibility with Windows applications/drivers is still working away in 2022 on symmetric multi-processing (SMP) support. Most ReactOS bug reports for SumatraPDF are “resolved/wont fix” there is only the odd open one for fullscreen mode where SumatraPDF is not fixed as "OnTop of the toolbar. running at ReactOS, an open-source alternative that looks/behaves like Windows.
