This position is responsible for negotiating and administering major contractual agreements and coordinating high-profile community events for the three (3) regional parks under its management. ALP and ARP programs include the daily operations of the parking program, Youth Science Institute and Visitors Center at Alum Rock Park. Outdoor Nature and Education programs, classes and camps occur at all three (3) locations. EPFP serves as a community-hub for the surrounding area and works closely with internal and external partners to serve the local community though amenities and services such as Cooling Centers, access to health and wellness resources and additional city services. EPFP has a multifaceted operation that offers facility rentals, barn animal husbandry, The Hatchery Preschool and youth summer camps, an on-site operational partner, Veggielution, and in-house maintenance. The Parks, Recreation and Facilities Supervisor (PRFS) manages the operations and maintenance of Emma Prusch Farm Park (EPFP) and programs at Almaden Lake Park (ALP) and Alum Rock Park (ARP). The PRNS Department is currently seeking to fill three (3) Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Supervisor positions, one (1) in the Recreation Division and two (2) positions in the Parks Division. The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidates’ qualifications and experience. The total salary range for the Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Supervisor classification is $97,690.32-$119,093.52 annually.
